Data Deletion Instructions

SocialPost provides users with the ability to request deletion of their personal data and connected platform data at any time.

This page explains how you can request deletion of your data associated with SocialPost.

1. Deleting Your SocialPost Account

You may request deletion of your SocialPost account and associated personal data by:

    • Logging into your SocialPost dashboard and navigating to account settings

    • Submitting a deletion request within the platform (if available)

    • Contacting us at: support@socialpost.ai

Upon verification of your request, we will delete your account and associated personal data from our active systems within 30 days, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal or compliance purposes.

2. Deleting Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Data

If you have connected your Facebook Page or Instagram Business/Creator account to SocialPost, you may remove our access in the following ways:

Option 1: Remove via Facebook Settings

      1. Go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy

      2. Click Settings

      3. Select Business Integrations

      4. Locate “SocialPost”

      5. Click Remove

This will immediately revoke our access token.

Option 2: Disconnect Within SocialPost

You may disconnect your Meta account directly from your SocialPost dashboard.

Once access is revoked:

      • We will no longer access your Meta platform data

      • Associated access tokens are invalidated

      • Platform data stored in our active systems will be deleted within 30 days

3. What Data Is Deleted

Upon verified deletion request, we delete:

    • Account information (name, email, profile details)

    • Connected social media account identifiers

    • Stored access tokens

    • Scheduled content

    • Analytics data retrieved from connected platforms

    • Uploaded media stored within SocialPost

Certain records may be retained if required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance obligations.

4. Verification Process

For security purposes, we may verify your identity before processing deletion requests to prevent unauthorized data removal.
