Using the LinkedIn carousel generator
Turn a post you already wrote into a branded, swipeable LinkedIn document post. No design tool, no designer.
The LinkedIn carousel generator turns a post you already wrote into a swipeable LinkedIn document post. It structures your text into slides, writes a headline for each, drafts the caption, applies your brand, and puts the carousel on your calendar. You approve every slide.
What is a LinkedIn carousel?
A multi-page document post that readers swipe through in the feed. SocialPost takes the post you already wrote, structures it into a hook, body slides, and a call to action, applies your brand, and publishes it as a real LinkedIn document post.
How do I make a carousel?
1. Open Carousels and pick your brand.
2. Paste the post you already wrote and choose a slide count.
3. Click Generate. Five slides take around 20 seconds.
4. Review the deck slide by slide and edit any headline, or open the full design editor.
5. Save it as a draft, export it, or send it to your LinkedIn calendar with the caption already drafted.
Does the AI write the carousel for me?
No. It works only from the text you paste. It restructures your post into hook, body, and CTA slides, writes a headline for each slide within the character limits, and drafts the caption in your voice. It won't invent a topic, make up numbers or facts, or paste raw text onto blank slides.
Do I need to know design?
No. You pick a slide count and the template handles the layout. On Pro, your brand colours, logo, and handle are applied automatically. If you want to move something yourself, Edit Design opens the full editor.
Can I change what a slide says?
Yes. Every slide has text fields under the preview, so you can rewrite a headline or a bullet and only that slide re-renders. You can also change the pasted post and click Regenerate for a fresh deck.
What size are the slides, and how many can I have?
Slides render at 1080 by 1350 px, which is 4:5 portrait, the tallest size LinkedIn shows in the feed. You get three slides by default, up to five on Solo and up to ten on Pro. Other formats aren't part of this version.
Where does it post, and how?
To your connected LinkedIn profiles and company pages, as a document post, through LinkedIn's official API and the same scheduler you use for text posts. The caption is drafted for you and stays editable. Nothing goes out until you approve it.
Can I download the carousel?
Yes, on both plans. Export it as a PDF, or as a ZIP of PNG slides at 1080 by 1350 px if you want to reuse them in a deck, a newsletter, or a proposal.
What's the difference between Solo and Pro?
- Solo is free forever: three carousels a month, up to five slides each, the standard template with default styling, and a small watermark on the last slide.
- Pro is $29 a month: unlimited carousels, up to ten slides, every template, your brand kit applied, and no watermark.
Both plans can export PDF and PNG.
Why is there a watermark on my last slide?
Solo is free forever, so free output carries a small "Made with SocialPost.ai" line on the final slide. Pro removes it and applies your own brand kit to every slide instead.
How many carousels can I make, and when does the count reset?
Three a month on Solo, unlimited on Pro. The counter is visible in the product before you start, and it resets at the beginning of each calendar month.
Can carousels get my LinkedIn account restricted?
Not from SocialPost. Every carousel publishes as a normal document post through LinkedIn's official API, from your own connected account, after you approve it. SocialPost doesn't build engagement automation, pods, auto-comments, or bulk DMs.
Do I have to switch AI tools to use it?
No. Keep the AI you already write with. Draft the post in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or your notes app, then paste it here. SocialPost is the layer between the AI you already use and a published, branded LinkedIn carousel.
Can I use my own template or fonts?
Not in this version. You get the standard template plus your brand colours, logo, and handle on Pro. Custom templates and custom font uploads aren't supported yet.
