Understanding Your Facebook Analytics in SocialPost

Understanding Your Facebook Analytics in SocialPost

The Facebook Analytics section in SocialPost helps you monitor how your content is performing, how your audience is engaging, and how your presence is growing. Here's what each part of the dashboard means:

Key Metrics Overview

At the top, you’ll see a summary of your page activity:

  • Total Posts: Number of Facebook posts published from your account during the selected time period.
  • Impressions: The total number of times your posts were shown to users.
  • Outreach: Unique reach of your content — how many individual users saw your posts.
  • Content: Number of posts created using SocialPost's editor.
  • Followers: Number of new followers gained on your Facebook page.
  • Likes: Total number of likes received across all posts.
  • Clicks: Total link clicks from your posts.
  • Comments: Number of comments received on your posts.

Graphs & Insights

These visual graphs help you see trends over time:

  • Audience Engagement: Displays how actively users are engaging with your content (likes, comments, clicks).
  • Follower Growth: Tracks changes in your follower count. Helpful to understand when and why spikes happen.
  • Impressions: A timeline of how many times your posts have been displayed. Spikes usually align with high-performing content.

Posts Table

At the bottom of the dashboard, you’ll find a list of your published posts. This includes:

  • Published On: Date and time the post went live.
  • Post Preview: A snapshot of the content.
  • Likes: Number of likes on that specific post.
  • Comments: Comments received on the post.
  • Watchtime: Time users spent watching video content in the post (if any).

This table helps you compare how individual posts perform so you can double down on what works best.

Quick Tips for Facebook Growth

1. Post Timing That Hits

  • Best days: Wednesday to Friday
  • Peak hours: 9 AM to 1 PM
  • Avoid Sundays unless you're running time-sensitive promos.
2. Content That Clicks
  • Native videos > links to YouTube. Facebook prefers in-house content.
  • Use short, punchy captions (90–120 characters) with a clear call to action.
  • Carousel posts and image posts still perform surprisingly well—don’t sleep on them.
3. Boosting Engagement
  • Ask questions or post polls—yes, even B2B brands.
  • Share user-generated content (UGC) when possible.
  • Reply to comments quickly—Facebook rewards active Pages with better reach.
4. Pro Moves
  • Facebook Groups = hidden gem. Share your posts into relevant groups for extra eyeballs.
  • Use emojis strategically—they increase CTR on CTAs like “Learn More” or “Get Yours.”
