Connecting Your Facebook Page to SocialPost

This guide will help you connect your Facebook Page to your SocialPost account. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth connection process and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Requirements

To connect a Facebook Page to your SocialPost account, you need the following:

  1. Connect Facebook Page:
    • A Facebook profile account.
    • A Facebook Page.
    • Full or partial access to the Facebook Page.
    • Connect the Facebook Page to your Facebook profile account.
  2. Connect Facebook Profile:
    Note: Facebook profile(s) are not accessible for third-parties via Facebook’s API.
  3. Connect Facebook Group:
    Note: Facebook group(s) are not accessible for third-parties via Facebook’s API.

Steps to Connect Your Facebook Page:

  1. Log in to Facebook:
    • Ensure you are logged into the Facebook profile that has full or partial access to the facebook Page.
    • Note: Logging in as your Page will not work.
  2. Log in to SocialPost:
    • In SocialPost, Click "Connect Socials" on the left-hand side.
  3. Start the Connection Process:
    • Click "Connect" next to Facebook.
  4. Authorize on Facebook:
    • If you are not already logged into Facebook, log into Facebook and click "Continue as [Name]."
    • Select the Page you want to connect and click "Connect."

Troubleshooting Facebook Page Connection

  1. Checking Your Permissions:
    • Log into your Facebook personal profile with admin access.
    • Find SocialPost and click View and Edit.
    • Make sure all permissions are selected.
    • Click Save to confirm your changes.

  2. Connect Facebook Profile:

  3. Reauthorizing the Connection Between Facebook Page and SocialPost
    • On Facebook:
      1. Go to Settings & privacy > Settings > Business Integrations.
      2. Find and remove SocialPost.
    • On SocialPost:
      1. Reconnect your Facebook account.
      2. Accept all permissions during the process.
