How do I connect my LinkedIn profile?

You can connect your personal LinkedIn profile on every plan. It takes about a minute, and you sign in on LinkedIn's own page.

Before you start: On the Team plan, you need to be an Owner, Admin, or Manager. Members can see connected accounts but can't change them.

  1. Open Connect Socials.
  2. Choose LinkedIn, then Personal profile.
  3. Sign in on LinkedIn and approve access.
  4. You're sent back to SocialPost, and your profile shows as connected.

Why LinkedIn asks for permission: LinkedIn only lets tools post for you after you approve access on its site. SocialPost never sees your LinkedIn password.

If it doesn't work: Sign out of LinkedIn in the same browser, then try again. If you have two LinkedIn accounts, make sure you're signed in to the right one first.

Common questions

Can I connect my profile and my company page? Yes. Each counts as one social account on your plan.

Will SocialPost post without me? No. It only publishes posts you schedule, publish, or approve.
